2017 Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Islamic Society of Darwin Inc. (ISD) hereby provides formal notice of the Annual General Meeting. Notice is also given that the Annual Financial Audit Report 2016-17 is now available for inspection by the members of the society.

Date:   Saturday 28, October 2017

Time:   7:00 PM after Maghreb Prayer

Venue: Islamic Community Hall, 53 Vanderlin Drive, Wanguri

Please note that only registered members of the society can vote and will be allowed inside the hall. Please refer to the membership list to check if you are a current member. 

If you are unable to attend and wish to vote, please nominate a proxy. Please provide proxy details to the Secretary via secretary@isod.org.au or in person to any Executive Committee member by 2pm, Saturday 28^th October 2017 using the proxy form available in the masjid and the website.

1. Recitation of Holy Quran
2. Apologies
3. Confirmation of Minutes of last Annual General Meeting
4. Annual Report
5. Financial Statement
6. Motion on Notice
7. Amendments to Constitution
8. Election of Executive Committee
9. Other Business
10. Closing Dua

Nominations:  All nominations must be lodged with the Election Officer, Br. Amin Islam or e-mail scanned copy to election@isod.org.au by Monday, 16 October 2017. 

Motions: Any formal motions must be lodged with the Secretary Sr. Asma secretary@isod.org.au by Monday, 16 October 2017.
