Islamic Society of Darwin Open Day Saturday, 1 July 2017

The Islamic Society of Darwin would like to wish the NT community a happy Eid -ul-Fitr, which was celebrated on, Sunday 25th June.

This festival commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims fast from dawn until dusk. We do not eat or drink anything during the day and break our fast after sunset.

The Islamic Society of Darwin will be conducting Open Day at the Darwin Mosque, 53 Vanderlin Drive, Wanguri on Saturday, 1 July 2017 at 10 AM. Everyone is invited. There will be food to get free voucher rsvp@president and free Jumping Castle.

This year, we are honoured to host the CEO of the Muslims Aid Australia Mr. Hassan and President of Islamic Research Education of Australia Mr. Waseem Razvi as our keynote speakers. Other noted dignitaries including the Deputy Chief Minister, the Honourable Nicole Manison, will be attending as well.
